Hey up folks, the next chance you have to catch some of the Seedy Residents live will be this Saturday night at the HMV Institute, Digbeth, supporting one of Birmingham’s most forward thinking nights, Ec-lectricity as they keep things moving in 2011 with their second event of 2011, after a successful Hospitality in January, which gave Skrillex his UK debut and saw artists such as Redlight, High Contrast, Breakage, London Elektricity, Danny Byrd, Instra:mental, Joe Syntax, Camo & Crooked rock the party! With line-ups constantly this strong nobody in the Midlands is touching Eclectricity for forward thinking nights, so its our pleasure to be supporting them at this event.

NERO take the much coveted headline slot in the main room – this time round celebrating the launch of their much anticipated debut album; the first single “Me and You” reached a very respectable number 15 in the charts. The guys are destined for huge things in the footsteps of the likes Pendulum, Chase & Status and Subfocus. Big room bass heavy business – fusing elements of dubstep, drum n bass, house and drumstep.

This is the tune that really brought Nero to the forefront of Dubstep.

A leading figure in the genre’s development to the world wide phenomena of today. Every remix he touches turns to gold and his own productions have huge crossover appeal making a wide selection of DJ playlists.
